EPISODE 1

Senator Reni faces backlash from the public after speaking up against the corruption involving the flood control projects in Metro Manila that led to a disaster in the region. Criticism quickly shifts to Reni herself, labeling her as self-righteous and hypocritical. As she sits in a dark room, she silently bears the weight of society’s judgement, the sexist remarks and harsh assumptions about herself and her leadership.

EPISODE 2

Mica, a young filmmaker, and her thesis groupmates begins researching Senator Reni for a documentary but grows disillusioned by how media narratives shape public opinion. They interview journalists, only to realize that the facts are often filtered and manipulated. 

As they are confronted by their own consciousness, they scrapped the original project and started anew – a project focusing on the stories and feedback from everyday people. 

EPISODE 3

The people have spoken, raised their voices with clarity and heart. Photos and messages of support are pinned to a public wall making people stop, reflect, and begin to see Senator Remy differently.

Senator Reni faces the backlash by participating in a one-on-one interview that will be released and broadcasted to the public. Here, she tackles her struggles as a senator and gives a message for all her fellow Filipinos.
