WHAT IS SILYA?

SILYA symbolizes the voices that are often-overlooked, ignored, and undermined, these women in politics are underestimated, not knowing their capacity to lead.

More than just a chair, SILYA expresses leadership and weight. This three-part documentary film projects the challenges of how society reacts when a woman is in position.

MISSION

SILYA’s mission is to unfold stories that challenge how society perceives women in power. Through research and film, the project aims to:

• encourage a more inclusive understanding of leadership

• inspire and push future leaders

• raise awareness about systemic inequality

Truth behind leadership is attainable as we help to create a more equal and understanding society.

SILYA envisions a future where leadership is not measured by gender, but the integrity and willingness to serve.
